Dear United States Government, What Next My Vagina?!!

Dear United States Government,

You may be in control of a lot of things, but my mind and my vagina you cannot control.

Well hopefully you can’t, :-/ I know how powerful you are and I fear that these two things you are trying to get your hands on…Next I think the government will try to control when you urinate!

Sounds ridiculous doesn’t it? Well to me it is quite ridiculous that in the land of the free the government not only wants to control how many babies a woman can have but they also want to make paternity testing mandatory at the time of a child’s birth in order to get a birth certificate with the father’s name on it. (Read the Mandated Paternity Testing Bill proposed by Senator Reginald Tate -D Memphis, TN)

The government has said that women are having too many babies that they can’t afford to take care of…but then on the other hand the government wants to limit birth control pills. They want to do away with abortion completely and I think next they will mandate in-home surveillance cameras to see who is having sex with who in hopes that they can make women account for their sex partners and have the fathers of babies out-of-wedlock on film so they can force them to take care of the children.

It disturbs me that the government wants to have so much control over citizens, I’m scared of what they will propose next.

And this may sound wrong or rude or whatever but how  can a person be free to be gay but not be free to take a damn birth control pill. I say pop em’ to you see otherwise, a pill a day keeps unwanted babies away… I am in no way against homosexuals and their rights but hell if a person has the right to marry a person of the same sex shouldn’t a person have a say so over if they want to have an abortion?? (the war against Planned Parenthood read , read , read ) If a person has the right to have unprotected sex should not also have the right to take birth control pills or control whether they give birth to a child. That’s like saying it is okay to get sloppy drunk but you cannot, I repeat you cannot call a cab to take you home, go ahead and drive….smh

The government frustrates me….

It is getting very critical….I’m almost scared to use public bathrooms. Aside from many of them being disgusting I think the government may be collecting samples 😐

AND I think that this magnificent idea to DNA test babies and potential fathers right after the babies birth is another way to collect DNA samples of men so that they can be added to “the database.” So  for all of you fathers or potential fathers screaming YES to mandated paternity testing please stay out of trouble because if these paternity bills are passed your DNA will be in hands reach…no more searching the database with no hits for law enforcement lol (just my opinion.) I do know that there are pros to this bill being passed; fathers being sure that they are the father, trifling mammies no longer able to lie and pick who THEY want to be their child’s father.

sidenote: Paternity testing has been accessible for quite some time so fathers really shouldn’t use this as an excuse. Hell if you have doubts that a baby is yours have a DNA test conducted. Bam there ya go…but if they need this mandated maybe it will also keep more draws from falling in the heat of the moment.. ***fingers crossed*** Oh wait…maybe more draws will drop in the heat of the moment because now they will have a free (nope not free, they plan to add it to the hospital bill) DNA test to conclude whether the baby they helped conceive without any protection is really theirs…I see more draws dropping in the future. smh

Again I say…the government frustrates me. But I will hold tight to my mind and my vagina because I truly feel that the government is after them both. Hold tight ladies….no really! I mean hold tight! lol

  1. Great post! I’ve been saying the same thing lately. Why are women who use birth control sluts? Well, it hats the case, them I’m a slut and I’m proud. But I only sleep with my husband. 🙂

Wow, I didn’t realize some states are trying to mandate paternity tests. I could understand if the parents weren’t married, but everyone? I think it’s all about money. Some senators uncle owns a lab and they want to make their family rich. First they make these tests mandatory then uncle will win a government contract to perform all the tests.

  2. Julia it is insane! I agree when it comes to the paternity testing. I have read comments online from married couples who say they feel it would make them feel violated to have no choice but to test their baby af birth. I mean seriously how can you mandate a married couple to test their baby…if they have no doubts then who is to say well doubts or no doubts we want to make sure it is ridiculous!

It seems that they are going further and further, who knows what’s next.

  3. great post! quite scary though…just hope that some sh*t like this ain’t gonna happen in france ( even if they wanted to make this kinda testing mandotory for foreigners willing to bring to france their children left abroad.)…crazy world!!

  4. Take Linda Gayle Woodley for example. There are numerous warrants out for her arrest and yet when she is arrested accidentally for speeding and they pul up lots of warrants she is out on 250 dollar bond She is roaming the streets thieving without drivers license, insurance, stollen identity, theft of home… family home at 1474 Patterson. She is still out roaming around for another victim. we have filed numerous reports and are still wailing. Yes, we have an attorney. We have done everything to stop her. She is still on a rampage. She sold our family home and is flipping it for the new owner. If I show up I am arrested. Please watch out for such riff raft…Memphis is in deep trouble and so is Woodley as soon as we get a court date.
