Memphis Child Dies in House Fire After Being Left Home Alone :(

The second child from this story, the 2 year old has since passed away. The mother, Melanie Dunn, who left the two and three year old boys home alone has still not be charged with anything. The District Attorney’s office says they are still reviewing the file and is waiting on more crucial information to the case before they make a decision.

                                                Some things are more than upsetting….they are disturbing. When I heard this story on the news I gasped. (House Catches Fire Killing 3yr Old Child After the 2 and 3 Yr Old Were Left Home Alone). I cannot believe that someone could care so less about human life that they could neglect two precious children and have no remorse about one being killed and the other being in critical condition.

If you watched the video you see the great aunt speak on what happened to these children as if it were nothing. As if to say oh well, they shouldn’t have started that fire. Oh and btw I need my food stamp card, I hope it wasn’t burned in the fire. Excuse my language but Bitch are you Crazy???   Your hot mess ass and your triflin hot mess niece shouldn’t have left two toddlers home alone to take care of themselves.

Personally I think the community should have gotten together, whipped both their asses while the news filmed it. Either that or they should have both been tossed in the fire after they casually strolled back on the scene AFTER the house was on fire and the children were being rushed to the ER. Then the police should have arrested the mother and the great aunt and threw both their asses underneath the jail.

When did taking care of your children, supporting them and protecting them become an option?

Stories like this bother me way deep down in my soul because these children were innocent. Even if they did something to start the fire, they were not old enough to be left alone nor  were they old enough to know right from wrong. It was the responsibility of their mother to take care of them and protect them. Not to leave them alone to fend for themselves while she did some shopping.

Then the audacity of the snaggle toothed aunt to speak to the news stating that not only did they leave the two children alone when the fire started, but they had also left them alone earlier in the day. Which means that these two babies were probably left alone countless times. 

The family stated that  the mother Melanie Dunn is the single mother of three children….

ok what does that mean?  That is no excuse for her stupid decision to neglect her children. She still knew not to leave those children alone and needs to be punished to the highest degree for her actions.

I am sooooo sick of parents forgetting that they have a responsibility to take care of their children and do right by them. It is not an option or a choice it is your DUTY.

I pray that the child who is in the hospital recovers and he and his older brother are placed in the home of someone who can take care of them and put their needs first.
