42nd Annual NAACP Image Awards

The NAACP Image Awards is the nation’s premier event celebrating the outstanding achievements and performances of people of color in the arts (television, recording, literature, motion picture and writing & directing), as well as those individuals or groups who promote social justice through their creative endeavors.

The 42nd Annual Image Awards were held Friday, March 4, 2011 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California and aired on FOX at 7pm. The hosts for this year’s show were actress, author, activist and philanthropist, Holly Robinson Peete and award-winning actor/entertainer Wayne Brady.
